Rainforest Safari Tent

Rainforest Safari Tent

The deluxe canvas tent is 14' x 16', nice & roomy for two adults, heated by a wood stove. The futon couch converts to a double bed if extra space is needed. There is an outdoor, covered porch, covered kitchen and private beach front access. The cedar outhouse and heated showers are steps away & very clean. Not suitable for children under 5yrs. No pets allowed.

Mussel Beach is off grid, no power and no running water, it is truly a place to unplug. All our Safari Tents have a luxurious queen bed, wood stove, and comfortable, private seating area. The outdoor kitchen is fully stocked including your own barbecue, camp stove, picnic table and firepit. We take pride in our attention to detail, you will find flashlights, solar lights, binoculars, games, towels, umbrella, blankets etc. Everything you need and more! You need to bring food, drink, indoor shoes, shower shoes and beach towels (we supply travel towels for the showers). When you arrive you will find 18l of drinking water, 20l wash water and your first nights fire wood for the wood stove, after that you can purchase wood and drinking water at a reasonable price.

You too can be So Damn Lucky!

Having no power and leaving our phones turned off provided us with a sense of calm and peace. Our daughter enjoyed cooking breakfast everyday in the outdoor kitchen. We had fires by the tent looking at the stars and even had a fire in the fireplace in our tent. The campground is very quiet, clean and the beach is stunning. We had to be extremely vigilant and careful with storing our food in our car as there are bears around but it added to the feeling of being disconnected from the world and off grid. Yes the road is bumpy but actually not that bad at all and we have a Hyundai SantaFe. The hosts are kind, caring, warm and would had done anything to make our stay magical! We are looking forward of making Glamping an annual family trip!

My partner and I booked a last minute getaway and this listing popped up! Awesome glamping but at the same time you’re still in the wilderness away from the busy city life. The tent is warm and inviting, and even more cozy once you get the old-school wood stove going! Great outdoor kitchen that has all the utensils/tools you need, and you have your own private beach to watch the ocean. Can’t wait to come back again!
